Garniture & Suction Tapes

Garniture Tape

Whether it’s a standard or special material, garniture tapes always guarantee an ideal friction coefficient between the tape and paper. Depending on the type of application or paper,  we recommend different tape surfaces with the following surface textures: Uncoated, impregnated, centre -coated, full-coated.

Garniture tapes are manufactured in lengths of 1,400 to 6,500 millimeters, widths of 8.5 to 90 millimeters and thicknesses of 0.5 to 0.68 millimeters. We supply garniture tapes for the cigarette industry from linen (natural fiber – physiologically safe), aramid (high-tech synthetic fiber – high tear resistance and temperature resistance) or polyester. Material combinations are also possible. With these, the properties of the individual components are combined to create materials with completely new properties

Suction Tape

Our suction tapes provide optimum running properties for  a very wide range of tobacco blends. A variety of surface textures are required for this. With different tape roughness’s (from very rough to smooth) and air permeability values, we offer a broad product range for all tobacco types and blends. We supply suction tapes in lengths of 800 to 12,000 millimeters and widths of 6 to 30 millimeters. Preferred materials are polyamide (synthetic fibre) of the physiologically safe material PEEK (high-tech fibre)..
